Get your hands dirty while helping care for Deer Lake Outdoor Center!
The Friends of Deer Lake Volunteer Crew is meeting on Saturday, September 20th for our next volunteer workday. If the weather cooperates, our primary project will be painting the new shed at Clifton Hall.
We will meet at Halliwell Training Center at 8:30am to share coffee and light snacks and to learn about the work projects for the day. Lunch will be served and we’ll finish by 4:00pm. Can’t make it for the whole day? No problem! Late arrivals and early departures are more than welcome. Please bring refillable water bottles and dress for the weather. Boots, long pants, and work gloves are recommended. We will provide all tools.
This event is open to all ages but is best suited to teens and adults. Younger children are welcome with close adult supervision.
