Total Lunar Eclipse 2025

Please join Deer Lake Outdoor Center and the Shoreline Astronomical Society for the March 13/14 Total Lunar Eclipse! This is a special one-time event. Please arrive between 11 and 11:30 PM at the main entrance parking lot. Jeff Dunn, President of the Shoreline Astronomical Society, will be your astronomical guide with a telescope available to view the event.
Some Notes to consider:
- While the event lasts through 6 AM the next morning Jeff will be wrapping up at the end of the Full Eclipse at ~3:30 AM.
- This is a weather-dependent event, so please keep an eye on the weather. Follow us on Facebook at @DeerLakeOutdoors for updates.
- If you have a camera, telescope, or binoculars please feel free to bring them, but they are not necessary to enjoy this event.
Eclipse Timing:
- Penumbral Eclipse begins on Mar 13 at 11:57:28 pm
- Maximum Eclipse is on Mar 14 at 2:58:43 am
- Full Eclipse Ends on Mar 14 at 3:31:26 am
- The penumbral eclipse ends on Mar 14 at 6:00:09 am
For extra credit, the Shoreline Astronomical Society’s general meeting on March 13th at 7PM will feature a presentation all about Lunar Eclipses (Also at Deer Lake Outdoor Center, Clifton Hall)
