Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the return of the Deer Lake Trail Run such a success!
After a 7-year pause, it was incredible to see runners, hikers, volunteers, and supporters back on the trails in beautiful rural Killingworth, CT. Participants tackled the challenging 5(ish)-mile course featuring nearly 500 feet of elevation gain across the scenic 250+ acre property, navigating rocky terrain, roots, mud, and the ever-changing elevations that make this a true trail run experience.
Congratulations to all of our participants and award winners, and thank you to everyone who helped bring this event back to life. We loved seeing the community out enjoying the trails once again.
