The 2025 All Things Killingworth Town Picnic brought our community together with sunshine, smiles, and hometown pride. From the moment the gates opened, you could just feel the energy—this year’s picnic was something special.

Thanks to our amazing community, this year’s picnic made a real difference right here in Killingworth:
💚 $4,500 raised for Deer Lake Outdoor Center
🏕️ That support will provide 11 weeks of summer camp for local children through Deer Lake’s Campership Program
🩵 $4,500 raised for the Kelly Allard Leach Foundation for Children with Spinal Injuries
Over 100 volunteers came together to make the day seamless from start to finish
🎵 3 incredible bands—School of Rock Madison, PitchDrop, and The John Spignesi Band
🦅 2 red-tailed hawks released by A Place Called Hope in a moving community moment
🌞 1 unforgettable day filled with community, connection, and purpose
From Cowboy Valley’s Wild West fun to the Sanderson Sisters Tribute Show, there was something for everyone. Families danced, kids laughed, and neighbors reconnected under a perfect October sky.
The food was top-notch with local favorites like Fire in the Kitchen Pizza Truck, The Greenery, James Madison House, Sweet Emilia Ice Cream, and Café Laurel. And shopping local was easy with so many talented artisans and small businesses filling the field with creativity and community spirit.
Of course, the friendly competition brought plenty of excitement—congrats to all our Lip Sync Contest and Cornhole Tournament winners!
Throughout the day, one thing stood out most: community.
