Registration fees include bus transportation to and from designated locations in Branford, Clinton, East Haven, Guilford, Killingworth, Madison, North Branford, and Northford.
Our two-week sessions include an optional overnight for rising 3 rd graders and older campers at no additional cost. Dinner is provided during the overnight and breakfast and lunch are provided the following day.
Deer Lake Day Camp is open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday of each session. We offer extended morning care beginning at 7:30 am each day for $60/week and extended afternoon care until 5:30pm for $60/week.

Open House

Take a guided tour of Deer Lake and meet some of our staff. If your child has never been to camp before, it is a great time to generate enthusiasm for their upcoming camp experience. We look forward to meeting you and helping answer any questions you may have about our programs at Deer Lake.

Financial Assistance
We collect a non-refundable $100 deposit per camper per session at the time of registration.
We accept payment by eCheck (ACH), American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, check, or cash.

Payment for online registration must be made by Credit/Debit Card or by eCheck Payment. Please contact daycamp@deerlakeoutdoors.org if you would like to pay by cash or check.
We offer the following options through our online registration system:
- Payment in Full (required for any new registrations on or after June 1st)
- Pay Deposit at registration and balance on June 1st.
- Pay deposit at registration and balance in 2 equal installments on May 1st and June 1st.
- Pay deposit at registration and balance in 3 equal installments on April 1st, May 1st, and June 1st.
- Pay deposit at registration and balance in 4 equal installments on March 1st, April 1st, May 1st, and June 1st.

Payment is due in full by June 1st. If payment is not received by this date, we will make one attempt each by email and phone to reach the primary contact listed on the registration. If the primary contact does not respond within three business days of our attempt to contact you, the registration(s) will be cancelled, the deposit(s) forfeited, and the spot(s) offered to a camper on the waitlist.
Should you need to cancel your camper's registration for any reason, you may do so through May 31st, 2026, for a full refund of all camp fees paid, minus the non-refundable deposits.
If you need to cancel FOR ANY REASON on or after June 1st, 2026, there are no
refunds of any fees.
Campers must enroll for a minimum of ONE FULL SESSION.
Due to the nature of our camp programming, we cannot accommodate partial session enrollment or splitting weeks between sessions.
The Connecticut Burns Care Foundation found a permanent home for its Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp starting in the 2026 season. We’re proud to have supported their camp for three years while they searched for a new home for their free, week-long summer experience for young burn survivors – a place where they can laugh, play, and heal among peers who understand their journey.
