Who We Are

Deer Lake Outdoor Center is owned and operated by Pathfinders Inc.  Pathfinders is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed in 1997 to help run programming at Deer Lake but was expanded in the fall of 2021 to concentrate on saving and preserving the property. Today, the organization consists of a Board of Directors, staff, and countless volunteers.

Our Board of Directors is comprised of 11 people who are passionate about outdoor education and protecting open space.  They each bring a wealth of experience to safeguard our mission and ensure the organization’s financial sustainability.  Interested in joining the Board?  We strive for a diverse pool of candidates that reflects our mission and our community.  Contact any current Director or info@deerlakeoutdoors.org to learn more about the role and nomination process.
